He(Arts) for Hospice Art Auction: Instructions for Art Donors

We thank you in advance for your generosity by donating and supporting our first annual He(Arts) for Hospice Art Gala & Auction. We are excited to have artists of all genres and mediums come together to support local artists and non-profit organizations like Mount Vernon Players and HNCO/Hospice of Knox County.

We are open to art of all styles and in all mediums, just please be mindful that we are a compassionate and sensitive organization and our families and loved ones are dealing with loss. Donations should be appropriate for audiences of all ages. Having said that, we would ask that artists try to stay clear of the morbid and morose. In the spirit of the season, we would like to see some Fall themed pieces at the gala. Another source of inspiration could be works based upon the joint production of Oscar Wilde’s play, The Canterville Ghost, courtesy of Mount Vernon Players. All artwork received will be reviewed by Hospice staff.

All artists who wish to donate a piece of art, please complete the form below and submit. All artwork should be hang ready and delivered to our Mount Vernon or Ashland office. Note: Artists will have the opportunity to win 1 of 3 art prizes: Voter's Choice Award, Patron Award, and Best of Show.
