Not All Heroes Wear Capes! Critical PPE Donors!
HNCO would like to share some good news during this Covid-19 season that has changed our lives in such a dramatic way. We all have heard the news outlets, it is no secret people are making cloth masks and have been seen taking precautions however they can, anything to protect themselves from the viral war. In spite of fear the community has really stepped up with support to Hospice of North Central Ohio. Local business and community members have greatly blessed our Hospice Heroes as they continue to serve. To have the support of so many people in our community is just heartwarming. We received critically needed (PPE) personal protective equipment / supplies from many kind generous supporters. From Business like: Brenda Stafford, Mary Kay; Brent Lasater, Lasater Funeral Home; Chris Laux, MWD Logistics; Kyle Stang, Janotta and Herner; Knox Community Hospital; Lowes of Mount Vernon, Knox County; Todd Snyder- Snyder Funeral Home.
From Emergency management agencies: Crawford County EMA; Knox County Health Department; Mark Maxwell- Knox County EMA; Richland Co EMA; Tracey Elder- American Red Cross.
We have also been blessed with donations that have come from within our agency, family of employees Andy Repp, Christy Schaad, Dee Snavely, Jason Giffin, Wesley Geiger, and employees Misty York, and Tina Marie Heibert, as well as the continued support from our HNCO volunteers have made face masks and cloth gowns for employees. (Tina Marie insert the serving counties…..end of press release…..)
