Hospice Music Therapist
Reports To
Director of Patient Services
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Director of Patient Services, the Music Therapist is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing effective music therapy interventions for all Hospice clients and families when indicated by client and family needs and desire. S/he functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in music therapy from an accredited college
- Board Certification through Certification Board for Music Therapy (CBMT); preferred but not required
- One (1) year's work experience in music therapy in a health- related facility; preferred but not required.
