Job Summary
The home health aide is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse and performs various services to meet patients' personal needs and promote their comfort. The home health aide is responsible for observing a patient, reporting and documenting the observations, and noting care performed for the patient.
The home health aide will be assigned so as to promote quality, continuity, and safety of a patient's care.
Qualifications
- Meets the training requirements of the State for a Nursing Assistant
- Is at least 18 years of age.
