Any number of various types of bequests may be used to memorialize your philanthropic interests. The choice depends on your unique circumstances and personal and financial objectives. In addition to the personal satisfaction of making a philanthropic bequest, you are allowed a charitable estate-tax deduction for the full value of the gift.
Sample Bequest Language
"I bequeath to Hospice of North Central Ohio, Inc., Ashland, Ohio, [insert dollar amount, percentage of estate or description of property] to be used for its general purposes."
