Ways to Give: Options
Many people are not aware that there are numerous types of gifts you can make to Hospice and many ways to tailor that gift. We would welcome the opportunity to assist you and your advisors in explaining and illustrating the tax and financial implications for any of the gift ideas mentioned below.
Please see our Donation Forms page if you would like to make an immediate donation, or contact us via our Ways to Give form or the phone numbers found on this Web page.
- Outright Gifts
These type of gifts include Cash, Appreciated Property, Personal Property / Gifts-in-Kind, Memorial Giving, Gifts in Honor, and Matching Gifts.
- Special Projects
These types of gifts include special causes such as Memorial Walkway, Special Wishes Fund, and the annual Tree of Lights event.
- Planned Giving
A planned or deferred gift is a contribution arranged during your lifetime, but one that may not be received in its entirety by Hospice until after your death. These types of gifts include IRA's and other Retirement Funds, Life Insurance, and Retained Life Estate.
- Bequests
Each year thousands of individuals, exercising the privilege to determine the final distribution of their estates, designate that a portion of their assets be used for the benefit and support of America's charitable organizations. Gifts by bequest will enable you to make significant contributions that may not have been possible during life.
- Life-Income Gifts
Life-income gifts provide donors, or their named beneficiaries, an income for life while committing resources to future use of Hospice. These gifts include Charitable Gift Annuities, Charitable Remainder Trusts, and Charitable Lead Trusts.
