What is hospice?

Hospice is a service that provides palliative care to any terminally ill patient with a limited life expectancy of months rather than years. Palliative care is aimed at pain relief and symptom control rather than curative treatment.

Since 1989, Hospice of North Central Ohio has continued to provide care, regardless of age, disease, gender, race, sexual orientation, availability or a primary caregiver, or ability to pay. Through our dedicated and compassionate team approach, we have developed a reputation for exceptional care to patients and families when they need it most.
