Hospice Care

Hospice of North Central Ohio offers care focusing on the final months of life, not just the final days.

Acknowledging the need for, and accepting, end-of-life care is sometimes even harder than dealing with death, but end-of-life care does not mean that you have given up hope. Through symptom control, pain management, and emotional and spiritual support, Hospice of North Central Ohio helps families focus on their remaining time together.

Generally, Hospice of North Central Ohio cares for those with a life expectancy of six months or less. Our hospice care is not limited to patients with cancer. Anyone who is facing a life-limiting illness such as advanced Alzheimer's disease, heart disease, lung disease, or HIV/AIDS can be cared for as long as a doctor certifies the patient is eligible. Hospice of North Central Ohio serves the communities of Ashland, Crawford, Huron,Knox, Morrow, and Richland counties.
